Map Privacy Policy

How Toolora Internet Quality Map collects measurement data and protects privacy.

Data collected

A test may collect download and upload speed, ping, jitter, provider, connection type, test time, browser category, operating system, device type, and approximate location when permission is granted.

Data not stored

We do not request or store names, email addresses, phone numbers, raw IP addresses, or complete user agents as part of test results. There are no public accounts.

Location and publication

Coordinates support aggregation and are reduced in precision in public outputs. When the user activates GPS, rounded coordinates may be sent to the OpenStreetMap reverse-geocoding service to obtain a province and city name; manual selection remains available. Public data appears as groups, regional statistics, heatmaps, or rankings—not individual histories.

Retention and cookies

Measurements are retained for historical analysis and data quality. Session cookies are limited to map.toolora.id, HttpOnly, Secure on HTTPS, SameSite=Lax, and are not used for fingerprinting.

Analytics and advertising

Internal analytics uses the map product scope. If Google Ads or AdSense is enabled, applicable Google policies and consent requirements may also apply. Contact Toolora through toolora.id for privacy questions.
